Clearwater will take your sofa at the curb on your regular collection day, free, no phone call. What it will not take is lumber, metal, construction material, plaster, dirt or rock — which is most of a renovation, a deck or a shed.
Clearwater collects appliances, furniture, sofas, washers and dryers at the curb on your regular once-a-week collection day, and you don't need to call to schedule it. Debris has to be at the curb by 7am on your service day, not more than 24 hours early, clear of wires, trees, poles, mailboxes and vehicles, with yard waste kept separate from junk. The city is explicit that drivers cannot return if it isn't set out to guideline, and non-compliance can mean your barrels go unserviced and a fine on your utility bill. Brush has to be cut to 4-foot lengths and bundled, and bagged leaves and grass can't exceed 50 pounds.
Clearwater's own not-allowed list for yard waste and bulk covers lumber, metal, construction or building material, plaster, and dirt, rocks and sod. That is a deck tear-out, a fence, a shed, a bathroom remodel and most of a workshop. None of it goes curbside here, in any quantity, on any day.

Clearwater runs on a season, and the back end of one looks the same every year: a unit that needs to be empty before the next tenant, a sofa that didn't survive three winters of renters, and a two-week window to get it done. April and May are our busiest weeks up there, and October runs a close second. If you manage units and you know the turnover date now, tell us early — we'd rather book it than squeeze it.

No. Same flat price card as St. Pete — a single item is $99 and a full truck is $595. We're about 20 minutes up Gulf-to-Bay, so it's a normal service day for us, not a trip charge.
Usually yes, and we'd rather say so. Clearwater picks up household bulk free on your regular weekly day with no phone call and no annual cap, which is better than most cities around here. It stops working when the material is excluded — lumber, metal, construction debris, plaster, dirt — when it needs carrying out rather than already being at the curb, or when your deadline isn't your collection day.
Yes — just tell us the building when you message. Most of the towers want the service elevator reserved and a certificate of insurance on file. We're licensed and insured and can send our certificate ahead if the association asks for it.
Often the same day, and rarely more than 48 hours. If you've got a tenant turnover or a closing date, say so and we'll be straight about whether we can hit it.
Yes. Estate clear-outs, snowbird turnovers and pre-listing cleanouts are a large part of what we do up there. A whole house is usually a full truck at $595, and we'll price it off photos before we come.
