Why people call us here

What two cubic yards actually gets you

Four bulk pickups a year, two cubic yards each

Two cubic yards is about the volume of two standard refrigerators standing side by side. In practice that's a loveseat and a couple of boxes, or one mattress set and a chair. A two-car garage is somewhere between ten and twenty times that. So is a shed. So is most of a spare bedroom.

Nothing over fifty pounds

Every individual bulk item has to come in under fifty pounds. A sleeper sofa is well over. So is a chest freezer, a treadmill, a gun safe, a solid-wood dresser, a hot tub cover and most of a workshop. The weight cap disqualifies more items in this city than the volume cap does.

Yard waste out of the cart is capped at two yards too

Anything that doesn't fit in the green cart has to be bagged or bundled and kept under two cubic yards, with palm fronds and limbs neatly stacked, under four feet, under fifty pounds. One serious pruning weekend goes past all three limits at once.

Where we work in Seminole

We're through here most days anyway

Seminole sits right between St. Pete and the beaches, which is our normal run. Flat pricing off a photo, same-day pickup, and no measuring tape.

Around Lake Seminole

The established streets near Lake Seminole Park and the country club — larger lots, real garages, workshops and sheds that have been quietly accumulating for thirty years. Garage and shed clear-outs are the bread and butter of what we do here.

Oakhurst, Seminole Grove and the Ridgewood side

Family homes, a lot of them changing hands. Pre-listing cleanouts, post-move leftovers and the garage that has to be presentable before the photographer comes. Usually a quarter to a half truck.

Bay Pines and the Park Boulevard corridor

Villas, condos and 55+ communities, plus the mixed commercial along Park. Downsizing moves and unit turnovers, where the constraint is almost always access and timing rather than volume.

The shed job

Why the shed in Seminole never quite gets dealt with

There's a pattern to this city. A backyard shed, twenty-odd years old, roof going soft, and inside it: paint cans, a broken mower, three bicycles, patio furniture from two houses ago and a chest freezer that stopped working during a hurricane. Everyone knows it needs to go. Nobody starts, because starting means finding out where each of those things is legally allowed to go.

Under Seminole's collection rules, almost none of it qualifies. The freezer is over the weight limit. The contents alone blow past two cubic yards. The shed structure itself isn't bulk waste at all. And the paint has to go to Pinellas County's household chemical collection, which only takes it from residents directly — we can't legally haul that part for you, and we'll say so.

What we can do is the rest of it in one visit: everything out, the shed itself down and away if you want it gone, and the slab or the patch of yard underneath swept. One number before we start, and we'll tell you which few items you'll need to run to the county yourself.

Questions

What Seminole customers ask

How much is two cubic yards, really?

Roughly the volume of two standard refrigerators. It goes faster than people expect — a mattress and box spring with a headboard is close to the whole allowance.

Do you charge more to come to Seminole?

No. Same flat price card: $99 for a single item, $595 for a full truck, with labor, hauling and dump fees included.

Can you take something over fifty pounds?

Yes, and that's usually why people call. Sleeper sofas, chest freezers, treadmills, safes and solid-wood furniture are all normal for us. Fridges and freezers carry a $35 add-on, and stairs are $40 a flight — both told to you before we come.

Do you do whole-house and estate cleanouts in Seminole?

Yes. A whole house is usually a full truck at $595, and we price it off photos before we come. Anything genuinely reusable we try to donate, metal goes to scrap, and the rest goes to the county transfer station.

How fast can you get to Seminole?

Often the same day, and rarely more than 48 hours. If you're on a closing or a move-out date, tell us and we'll be honest about whether it's doable.
