Not limited — prohibited. Drywall, lumber, tile, cabinets, roofing, old countertops and fixtures are all on the list of materials that will not be collected curbside, along with automotive parts and hazardous waste. A single bathroom remodel produces almost exactly the pile the city is not permitted to touch.
Bundles can't exceed four feet in length and no single limb can be more than four inches across. That's fine for a hedge trim. It's a genuinely miserable afternoon if a tree came down, and it's why half-finished tree work sits at the curb here for weeks.
Collection runs twice a week, typically Tuesday and Friday, with recycling on Wednesday — which is good service. But everything has to fit inside a container no bigger than 35 gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds. White goods and furniture do go out on your regular day; a garage's worth of loose material does not.

The older blocks off Park Boulevard and along the 49th Street corridor — mid-century block homes with deep garages, Florida rooms and workshops. Garage cleanouts, workshop clear-outs and the accumulated contents of a shed that outlived its roof.
The commercial side: small warehouses, contractor yards, shops and office suites. Tenant turnovers, pallet and fixture removal, and the back-of-the-unit pile that's been growing since the last lease. We invoice on Net 15 for businesses so nobody's handing over a card on site.
Somebody redoes a bathroom. The tile, the old vanity, the tub surround and four bags of drywall end up stacked beside the driveway. It sits through one Tuesday, then one Friday, then a Tuesday again, and eventually someone reads the ordinance and finds out it was never going to be collected — building material is on the prohibited list, full stop.
The usual next thought is a dumpster. Sometimes that's right. But a roll-off has to be permitted where required, it occupies your driveway for a week or more, you load it yourself, and you're paying for the container whether you fill it or not. For a single-room remodel, one visit from us is normally cheaper and finished in an hour.
