The full price card, what the add-ons are, and when the city's free pickup is the better deal.
Junk removal in St. Petersburg with Curbside Brothers costs $99 for a single item and $595 for a full truck. We price by how much space your load takes up in the truck, not by the hour and not by the item. Most jobs land between a quarter truck ($225) and a half truck ($345).
Labor, hauling and disposal fees are included in the number we send you, and that number is the one you pay. Prices below are our current card as of October 2026.
The same card applies to every job. Here is what each load size usually looks like.
| Load size | What that looks like | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| Single item | One mattress, couch or appliance | $99 |
| 1/8 truck | A few boxes and a chair | $165 |
| 1/4 truck | A bedroom's worth | $225 |
| 3/8 truck | A garage corner | $285 |
| 1/2 truck | Half a garage | $345 |
| 3/4 truck | Large garage clear-out | $475 |
| Full truck | Whole-house or estate clear-out | $595 |
Add-ons: stairs $40 per flight · fridges and freezers $35 · mattresses $25 each when they are part of a larger load · tires $15 each.
Quoted separately: hot tubs, pianos, sheds and safes. Most hot tub removals run $345 to $595 depending on access, stairs and whether the tub sits on a deck we have to cut up. Send a photo and we will price it.
This is the main driver. A few boxes and a chair is an eighth of a truck. A whole house is a full one. Piles look bigger or smaller than they are, which is why we price from a photo.
Carrying a couch down a flight of stairs takes more time than rolling it off a driveway. Stairs are a flat $40 per flight, and we tell you before we come, never after.
Refrigerant appliances, mattresses and tires have disposal rules of their own, so they carry small listed add-ons. The amounts are on the card above.
Hot tubs, pianos, sheds and safes are different jobs. They are quoted individually from a photo of the item and where it sits.
St. Petersburg collects up to three cubic yards of furniture, carpet and appliances at no charge through its special pickup program. If your job fits inside that, use it. Building materials and brush are billed by the city at $25.65 per cubic yard after Sanitation estimates the load. We wrote up exactly where the free list stops in our guide to St. Pete's Beyond the Bin special pickup.
Where hiring a hauler makes sense: remodels, whole garages, anything over the free-list caps, or a date you have to hit.
Send a photo of the pile by message or with the form on this page. We reply with one flat price. There is no walkthrough and no sales visit, and the price does not change at the truck. If it turns out to be cheaper to handle it yourself, we will tell you that too.
